Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics

Outline
"In October, 2011, the Clinical Department of Cardiovascular Intervention was established at 色多多视频 Hospital, and on September 1, 2016, the Department of Trans-catheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics was established as a new department in the School of Medicine.
Trans-catheter cardiovascular interventions are now actively performed not only to treat coronary artery diseases but also to treat peripheral vascular diseases. With the westernization of dietary habits and aging society in Japan, illnesses are becoming more and more complicated. Our department is one of the few departments in Japan that specializes in trans-catheter cardiovascular interventions and therapeutics.
In the university, it is our policy to first educate students so that they acquire detailed knowledge of the circulatory system. They are then trained to perform cardiovascular interventions and treatments.
Through live demonstrations of catheter intervention, we have been promoting safe procedures as well as the merits of trans-catheter cardiovascular treatments."
