This course introduces the foundations of medical statistics to students taking this course.

The goals of this course are to

be able to organize statistical data.
be able to explain typical method and procedure of statistical estimations and tests.
be able to explain method and procedure of independence test.
be able to apply rejection test to outliers of data.
be able to apply analysis of variance and regression analysis to specific examples.

Textbooks are not specified and materials will be distributed as needed.

We recommend to prepare each lecture by reading books or visiting web sites relating to the contents of this course.

After the homework is submitted, we make corrections and return it to students in order to improve the degree of understanding.

In this course we give online class. Students take the lecture by watching YouTube videos about the lecture content. Grading will be decided based on submitting homework.
Evaluation distribution: Assignment submission status 50%, Assignment answer content 50%
