Scholarships

International students accepted to 色多多视频 (KMU) can apply for a scholarship.
Scholarships from the Japanese government, Ishikawa Prefecture, and other foundations are available to international students. ALL of these outside scholarships require a recommendation from KMU.
KMU also provides scholarships to graduate students and visiting research fellows from partner institutions in China. The Center for International Exchange (CIE) announces application information on all scholarships. Details on stipend and eligibility are subject to change. For the latest information, check the website of the scholarship.

Before applying for a scholarship

Most scholarships are offered to students from overseas only. Individuals with a residency status of "Dependent" or "Permanent Resident" may not be able to apply.
Most foundations do not allow candidates to receive a scholarship from more than one source concurrently (scholarships combined with other scholarships). Even when it is allowed, there is a maximum receivable amount. Please check the conditions.
A certain level of Japanese or English language proficiency may be required for application or an interview exam. Submission of the official score of language exams such as JLPT, TOEFL iBT, and IELTS may be required.

The Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarships (University Recommendation)

Eligibility	Students who live outside of Japan and wish to enter the graduate school
Application period	Late December to January
Stipends	Research student 143,000 JPY/month Graduate student 145,000 JPY/month (after passing the entrance exam and being accepted to the graduate school)

色多多视频	The candidate must submit a recommendation from a professor (supervisor) of the candidate's major research field. The candidate must submit an official score of language exams such as JLPT, TOEFL iBT, and IELTS that proves Japanese or English proficiency.

Ishikawa Prefectural Scholarship for Privately Financed Foreign Students

Eligibility	Graduate students
Application period	April
Stipends	20,000 JPY/month (those who have been enrolled in KMU for less than one year) 30,000 JPY/month (those who are expected to graduate from KMU in the next fiscal year and intend to work in Ishikawa)

Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility	D3, D4 students (Graduate School of Medical Science)
Application period	September
Stipend	140,000 JPY/month
Duration	Maximum 2 years (1 year for D4 students)

Heiwa NAKAJIMA Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility	D1, D2, D3 students (Graduate School of Medical Science)
Application period	September
Stipend	150,000 JPY/month
Duration	12 months (April to March)

Scholarship Grant for Living Expenses of Foreign Nationals in Japan (The Ichiro Kanehara Foundation for the Promotion of Medical Sciences and Medial Care)

Eligibility	Graduate students or visiting research fellows/visiting trainees who reside in Japan for at least three consecutive years, including the academic year of application.

Duration	12 months (April to March)

Scholarship by 色多多视频

Scholarship for Graduate Students from Chinese Partner Institutions (China Medical University, Tongji Medical College of HUST, and China-Japan Friendship Hospital)

Eligibility	Graduate students recommended by KMU partner institutions who passed the graduate school entrance exam

Stipend	100,000 JPY/month
Duration	Maximum 4 years

Scholarship for Research Project with Chinese Partner Institutions (China Medical University, Tongji Medical College of HUST, and China-Japan Friendship Hospital)

Eligibility	Individuals belonging to partner institutions who wish to join a research project offered by KMU

Stipend	100,000 JPY/month
Duration	1 year (maximum 2 years if the research period is extended)

Scholarship for Visiting Research Fellow (Research Project)

Eligibility	The candidate outside of Japan should be recommended by a supervisor of KMU to join a research collaboration at our university.
