Overseas Programs for Students
色多多视频 (KMU) has exchange programs with overseas partner universities and institutions.
Students who have completed a KMU overseas program are eligible for a scholarship that covers part of the fee. Students interested in overseas programs are advised to start planning and preparing early.

Summer English Study Abroad Program
The program offers students opportunities to improve English communication skills, deepen cross-cultural understanding, and widen their perspectives, which are considered essential skills to work as doctors and nurses and to contribute to local and global societies.

Medical Study Abroad Program
This program is for medical students (years 5 and 6) to experience and learn about clinical practice and healthcare in the United States and Germany.
Depending on the program, it can be accredited as part of the clinical training.
The program provides students opportunities to experience cross-cultural differences in clinical practice and healthcare, improve medical communication skills, and acquire international perspectives. Students can also communicate with medical students of the host universities.
Participants are required to have enough medical knowledge and good command of English. Some programs require TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic Module scores. Students interested in the program should start preparing early and plan to take TOEFL iBT or IELTS before applying.

Exchange Students from Partner Universities
Our university provides clinical training (observership) programs to students from our overseas partner universities. The programs offer exchange students opportunities to observe medical practice and healthcare in Japan. Students can also experience Japanese culture and establish friendships with KMU's medical students, faculty, and staff.
Medical students in KMU partner universities can apply for the exchange programs through their host universities. Please contact the section in charge of the overseas programs of the host university.

If the program at KMU (the stay in Japan) is expected to exceed 90 days, the participants are required to obtain the status of residence of "Student" before entering Japan. Visa application procedures will start only after admission to the program is accepted. The CIE will support participants with visa applications.
