Adult Nursing

Outline

"Adult nursing covers a wide range of patient ages, from adolescence to the early elderly. Thus, we always take patients’ stage of development into consideration and try to understand patients from physical/physiological, intellectual/mental, and psychological/social aspects and provide appropriate support in accordance with their health levels and the course of their diseases/disorders.
In student education, our lecture programs are designed to help students acquire the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for adult nursing. In the 2nd year, we give lectures to help students understand the characteristics of adults and how their health levels and disorders may affect their overall life. In the 3rd year, we provide exercises with simulation education so that students can support patients with evidence based nursing (EBN). Also, students carry out clinical nursing training in the hospital.
We work hard to better the education and the research in our field and aim to share the joy of learning about adult nursing with students, and to actively contribute to clinical nursing and to the society."
