Anatomy II

Outline

For the 1st year medical students, the Department of Anatomy II provides lectures on the cardiovascular system, nervous system, myology, osteology, and osteology practice. For the 2nd year students, we provide human anatomy and brain anatomy practice.
In research, our department’s primary focus is on human anatomy. Each member of the department is working on a specific research topic. OHMICHI Yusuke is investigating the mechanisms of chronic pain caused by physical disuse, such as complex regional pain syndrome type 1 (CRPS 1) . OHMICHI Mika is working on prevention strategies for chronic pain due to physical disuse. KAGAYA Miyuki is studying the morphological evolution of the thorax and pectoral girdle using fossils and living primates.
